Mel Street established Bee Bop Dance Studio as a hobby in 1999, it quickly grew across Beauty Point and George Town and is now run in 2 studio spaces in Victoria Street, George Town.

Overseas Travel Experiences at Bee Bop
In 2012, 38 Bee Bop students, accompanied by 75 family & friends, travelled to California USA to perform in Disneyland, California Adventure & Universal Studios! They also participated in the main street parade for a 'Dance the Magic Spectacular '& participated in workshops at Disneyland & the Edge!
In 2016, 24 Bee Bop students, accompanied by 27 family & friends, travelled to Hong Kong where they performed at Stanly Plaza, Ocean Park & flash mobbed at K11 in the centre of Hong Kong. They also participated in a workshop at Jean Wongs School of Ballet! Then, 19 students travelled onto France to perform at Disneyland Paris & participate in a Disneyland workshop!
In 2020 Bee Bop students, family and friends were set to travel to Los Angeles and New York, USA. Unfortunately COVID-19 resulted in the postponement of this trip, however we are waiting for the opportunity to travel internationally again soon!
